Mark Bate

Mark is a member of the ‘Institute of Asset Management (MIAM)’ and a professionally qualified engineer, manager, consultant, and sales professional with over 20 years’ experience in Industry and over 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Software Sales.

During his time in Industry he held numerous engineer and manager level roles in; operations, maintenance, engineering, plant performance and reliability, asset management and business optimisation. For the last 12 years he has worked directly in Enterprise Software Sales, focussing mainly in the area of Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning and Asset Performance Management and held roles in solution consulting, enterprise account management and as a sales product manager focussed specifically on Digital Twin.

Mark has worked for a number of globally recognised Power companies and Industrial Software organisations, and applied his expertise to assist customers across a breadth of industries; Power, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refining, Pharma, Metals and Mining, and many more.

Now working for Ansys, he works within the New & Emerging Technologies team collaborating with organisations across EMEA to help them to develop their use of Ansys Twin Builder software to create Digital Twins, to identify and drive significant business value across the whole of the product and asset life-cycle – from design and optimisation through to operations and asset maintenance with Hybrid Analytics.
